golden eggs?
i found 2 golden eggs during a campaign map
what are those for?
what happens if you equip 3?
anyone knows?

Just equip them for a hero and after some time (don't know actually how many turns), well you'll see what happens

On which map did you find them?
I did once find a Golden Goose, in the Necropolis campaign map 3, by simply standing still with a Hero for a couple of turns in the central dustbowl, but I didn't find anything similar in any other campaign map.

They are a normal random artefakt. So you just have to have luck.

Any map that has random relics can have the golden egg. I had two on the 3rd map of the Sanctuary campaign

It wasn't just because you stood still in that place. You must've had a Golden Egg equipped.

Odd, I don't recall picking one up  . It might be, but I don't have a savegame anymore from the start of that game. If I have one, it's already hatched.
