WOG Bugs
After a recent format I have re-installed all my Heroes III games, including; Armageddon's Blade; Shadow Of Death; & WOG 358f.
I then created a random map as a test and found that after about 15 minutes of game play it froze on a brown error screen, telling me (amongst gobbledygook) that various scripts or items could not be found or written. This error screen crashed the game completely, and kept on happening afterwards at random intervals.
So I then installed 'New Objects Version 1.09' in the hope it may rectify my problems, but it hasn't done a thing. In fact, as I near month 6 in this current random map, the problem appears to be happening more and more frequently.
Has anyone else had any such problems with WOG 358f? Are perhaps my selections within WOG options creating a problem? Is there a site with up-to-date patches for all the Heroes III games? Does a complete re-install of all the games usually help in these matters?
