In multiplayer do you set comptuer players?

Hi, although I haven't player multiplayer very much, I've noticed a lot from here that the game play and strategy is different when playing against human as opposed to the AI.
My question is, when you guys play multi-player do you ever set any computer players or is it usually just all human?

When I used to play some we almost never had AI players.

Sometimes I played with both AI and human opponents and the difference is huge.
