Posting Problem! Need Mod assist pls!
I am trying to edit the first post in this topic:
http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=35293
It will not allow me to, and even after this topic I should have 5 left still. It also will not allow me to add a post after the last one, even though it looks like it will, even with the warning about it not increasing my post count. I wasn't worried about that, was trying to upload fixed copy of story, and then continue it. Am I unable to do so?
Edit: The QP had been applied and I had still been updating, and like william said it hadn't been a year...not sure what is going on, though if someone could post in tribunal for me, I would be very grateful, as I only have 5 posts left today, and I was really hoping I could get the new addition to the story up!

I don't think you're able to edit a thread if there's a QP attached to it, I'm not sure. I know there is a year to edit a thread/post and then you can't but it's not been a year yet. Best place to post this sort of stuff though is the Tribunal.

I don't think the QP should be an issue, I think you are able to edit regardless. Are you sure you typed in your username with same Caps (same capital/normal letter combinations) as when you made the post? I know that previously that was an issue. There is a limit to how old a post you can edit, I thought the limit was 12 months, but I might be mistaken and it's actually 6 months. Can someone test that?

The limit is a year (thank all the gods, otherwise my H7 idea would be in such deep trouble) and I do not seem to have any difficulty with QP post editing... but that could be a glitch. Or your problem could be a glitch. Or both could be.
Either way, I don't know why the post can't be edited. You were able to before you left last time, right? The QP had already been applied then... So what happened to the thread since then?

I had exceeded the post limit lol. Couldn't post before as was just about at spam filter limit. If you check the story it is now updated!

Is it total length of original post plus edit to determine if it hits the limit, or is is just considering the edit?
