Animation is a little choppy, may want to double the frames or so. At least 7ish are needed for a smooth looking attack, more for a long attack. I'm not sure how you are making these upgrades, but if you need any resources I have I can give them, mostly just pictures though.

Also, probably the thing I am least happy with is the siege screen if you want to help, that would definitely be the place.

I use PS to cut pictures into several parts and paste them in DEFs,all pictures from Halo3 and Halo Wars,but it is difficult to use some 3D models such as some town buildings.
If you can provide some useful pictures,I think it is helpful.

Edit:I do not like the dark purple background.

What building specifically? All creatures except for AA Wraiths were taken from screen shots from Reach, that was from Halo 3. It would be a hassle but possible to get the chieftan from 3, but very tedious as the Theatre mode in 3 is very limited.

Some models like the Ghost,Wraith and the Elite Sword are very good, but castle ,capital and the Grail need to be improved.
If you do not mind, please provide some pictures in Halo: Reach, I have not downloaded this one.
It is helpful to improve the town buildings.

So I don't seem to have the screen shot of the building used to make the castle/ map def, but if you were serious about improving it I could easily get it again. It came from a multiplayer map, but forget the name. The one for the town hall is



and the grail one is easy, just google the Halo ring and use any, but it's just supposed to be the ring in the sky, so improving it seems... well let's see what you can do

You can save pictures into 24 or 32 bitmap and make them into def,then extract them.

All Covenant work is currently on hold while I help out finishing the H2 Succession Wars mod. If anyone has anything they would like to see in a 1.1 release, I'll look into it afterwards.

Use ERA II and the look on topic Maps/Mods for ERA II and download there a Covenant town


Then, do your wogify setups and look that there is Covenant Town activated, then save your setups as you want it. Then Reboot the game and that's it


EDIT: LOL, somehow it posted like this one, but this was planned to post to guy who could not get his covenant town working

A small update:

Minor glitches fixed in script
Unique commander sound support added

And last but not least, a new commander fit for the team (NOT Tolberti). Here's an image to get a feel, but it's really misleading. I thought a commander ought to use Active Camouflage, so you'll just have to see for yourself



For Heroes noobs:
1) Go to your Heroes folder, then tools folder, then MMArchive
2)open Heroes3.snd with MMArchive (in your Heroes/Data folder) and drag the 6 sounds (.82m extension) into the program.
3)Open H3sprite.lod (same folder) with MMArchive and drag ZM183NPC.def into the program.
4) open your Heroes\Data\s folder and replace script82.erm with the open provided.
5)Enjoy

Note for heroes experts: leaving the sounds in the Data folder will not work as they have a unique name that is not recognized by WoG and won't be read from there.

I may. The one problem with switching to ERA 2.3 is that UN:C commands don't work (of they do, but address locations are different) so my mod may not be so easy to convert. But I guess Bersy did make it compatible so then most likely I will. Is there a particular reason you want it converted? It would appear the exact same to you...

Ok I promise that's my next goal once the beta for the Succession Wars is out . Maybe include another something special, maybe unique arrows for the siege (like turrets).

Here's something fun: During a Covenant siege, any hero with expert ballistics can, instead of shooting with their main arrow tower (center), deploy an energy shield to block the attacker from entering

And Rtas Vadam's specialty is now ballistics. All new updates will be released with the stable ERA 2.0 version, almost exclusively using the RedirectFile function. Out soon.

Great project!

A simple question (haven't played this mod yet, just saw the pictures):

Isn't this town a bit weak?

I mean, an upgraded level 4 unit which deals 4-6 damage
An upgraded level 5 unit which deals 6-10 damage

I'm actually not too sure . A lot of the creatures have abilities which may make up for it, but when I've played I did not think they were too weak. No one has commented on this yet, so I'd be curious to know!

You get crash in grove, crash in covenant, are you sure Era is installed properly? Can you run other script mods, for example Sagamosa?
