3 days left to fund Wasteland 2 (classic RPG)
Come on ! Where's the Wasteland 2 thread ? Fallout 1 was made because Brian Fargo and his pals didn't have rights to create a Wasteland sequel. Now they can do so.
They are collecting money to develop Wasteland 2. They have $2,453,493 in pledges so far ( will be funded on Apr 17, 8:05am EDT )

A post-apocalyptic RPG. It will be a classic RPG with isometric (but 3D) view, turn-based combat. A party of characters plus some NPCs that follow you but can't be controlled directly.
The team:
Brian Fargo (Baldur's Gate 1, 2, Icewind Dale, Fallout 1, 2, P:T...)
Chris Avellone (mostly known for Planescape: Torment)
Mark Morgan (made music for Fallout 1, 2, Planescape: Torment, Deus Ex and more)
Matthew Findley and a bunch of other former Interplay folks.
I know for sure at least some of them play older games. Why no interest in Wasteland 2 ?

Man they have way enough money already  Incredible.
But yeah I'll consider it, sounds real good.

They have slightly over $2,500,000. At $3,000,000 they will provide mod tools. In any case, if you pledge $15 now you will have your own DRM-free copy. It will be more expensive when it comes out.
