giant mantis = a 4th level big unit with FLYING, FIRST STRIKE, and BINDING ... that's like gold dragons having the dendroid effect!

The Spawn Live Action Movie sucked!!
No REAL Spawn fan would admit to having liked it.
Spawn rules but that was horrible.

i think best are:
1) titans, because they are only 7th lvl creatures that shoots,
2) black dragons are immune to magic attacks,
3) archangels can ressurect dead allies,
4) phoenixes rebirths,
5) hydras can attack all units around,
so the best lvl 7 unit is still unclear. Also which unit is best, depends on situation. E.G. medussa queen or basilisk can turn archangel into stone, fast flying unit can block titans from shooting, dendroids can stop black dragons for a while, so it is impossible to say which unit is best.

Black Dragon: Immune to spells-so works great against tower,rampart-inferno-and castle or other dungeon
40-50 damage-decent damage
300 hit points-very good hit points
weakness:Their good against tower but weak against stronghold and Behemoths
Chaos Hydra: they have a weak attack and damage but they have no rataliation and hit multiple targets.Teleport is a level 3 spell so you might get it.In a siege battle Fortress seems underpowered cause wyverns die quick and dragonflies arent great damage dealers.Instead teleport your hydras inside the walls.while your at it if you have enough knowledge teleport your gorgons and basilisks as well.
Titan:Have good hp,are good damage dealers and can't be affected by mind spells.their attack is weak but their damage not(Black Dragons know)
ArchDevils: Despite their goods stats as a level 7 they are weak and against archangels don't stand a chance even with no retaliation ability.However they make excellent units in a siege battle especially against rampart.
ArchAngel: I liked them because of their stats and they can also ressurect allies.
AncientBehemoth: Behemoths are the strongest level 7 unit.They can beat any other level 7 and are my favorite units.They ignore 80% of the enemies defence,and although they have poor attack and defense for level 7 they have high damage.Excellent against blakc dragons,titans,archangels,and gold dragons
GhostDragon: Their cost is little but their aging ability is one of the best abilities in the game.Good against fortress,rampart,castle.Just halve those grand elves or marksman hit points and see what I mean.
GoldDragon: They are also immune to level 1-4 spells so its a good thing,but if the enemy has implosion its a bad thing.
250 hp
27attack and defense is better than the black dragons but I think they lose to them.
This is the ramparts tank unit along with the dendroids and dwarfs
Pheonix: Rebirth is overpowered in some cases but they die pretty quick
low hit points,poor defense and attack but thinking you fight 2 pheonix instead of one is intimidating
The top 3 in my case are: Black Dragon,Ancient Behemoth,ArchAngel,
then Ghost Dragon,Titan,ChaosHydra,GoldDragon,Pheonix,and Archdevil
