Poll Question:
New faction in 'Pirates Of The Savage Sea' ?
I have been trying to figure out, whether or not the might and magic team will be putting in a new faction in their H6 expansion 'Pirates Of The Savage Sea' (maybe sylvan or academy?) and from what i can gather, no new faction will be released. I would LOVE a new faction in the game, and it would be very upsetting for me if there was no new faction, I think it would be the 1st time that might and magic would be releasing an expansion pack without a new faction.
Anyway, if you know the answer please vote!

It's not an expansion, it's a DLC.

Yeah, someone from Black Hole did. So, that holds no value whatsoever anymore.
Also, recently Erwan stated that the upcoming Expansion(s) will contain new Faction(s).

I didnt think there would be a new faction  Any chance that sylvan will be a faction in this game at some point? Sylvan's my favourite

That was a long time ago when BH was still around. It was actually one of the BH employies ho sad so. But We all know how the situation went. So currently, we know only that there is an expansion planed

Academy and dungeon seem the more prominent choices as they have both received a lot of foreshadowing. There are elven mentions too but not quite like the previous.

I don't remember where it was exactly, but I remember that there was two expansions planned, and that each expansion would add two factions, one that would be free with a patch and the other would have to be bought with the expansion. Given a change in developers though I think that business plan is out the window, and in its place we get poor quality add-ons like this.

This the information you are talking about came from on of the BH employes back at the time of development. Sadly Things didnt turned out well with BH so this is no longer true.
Also mind if I correct you in some facts? This is not an add-on, this is a DLC. An Add-on would add something new to the game, like a new faction or new system of necromancy like The Hammers of fate did. A DLC doesn't add as much to the game like an add-on and generaly only works with the mechanics introduced in the vanila game.
One last thing, stating that the DLC is a poor quality product is rather unfair. Due to the fact that most of us, do not know how good the individual features of the DLC are. You can say that the DLC does not add enought content in your opinion, that is true. But in this case, you should use the phrasing "We get such small add-ons", insted of saying that it is poorly made.
