Many people dont care for the problems we discuss here and only react to the events they are in...
Many people take thinking as a very hard process and are frightened to think,and let others to think for them...
There are people who care and take resposibility for their children and families,for their friends and other people they respect!
The problem of global warmimg is very similar to the problem of the elections.
When somebody thinks-I am only one and I dont care to go to vote-guess what-thousands and millions think the same thought and then they enjoy complaining and swearing the results!
When somebody think-I care and I want to live,and I want my children to live,not to die,I know that my grandchildren will pay for my debts or benefit from my wealth-then many others begin to think and to think again!
Only thought can solve a problem!

Sure. Currently I dont have any children and I am not planning on having any. In essence, I could care less about how the generation of tomorrow will live.
I do my fare share. I dont throw garbage around, I would rather have a fuel efficient car etc.
Just dont ask me to care more or spend money for environmental protection.

Yeah, only if those actions depend on you. Do you really think global warming is solvable? You are asking to change the consensus and interests of multinational billion dollars corporations.
They are going to experience higher water levels and what not.
It will be their problem, not ours. It will be their problem of how they will survive. Is that because of our actions? No because no matter how much you whine, you cant stop industry, economic growth etc. Hell, our entire society is based on growth. That is unsustainable because of the limited resources of the planet.
