Ubisoft at PAX'13 - M&M X announcement?
Yesterday Might & Magic twitter wrote this misterious tweet.
Searching on the source code of the Might & Magic website leads to the secret page.
Inside...we find a big X made out of RPG M&M items, monsters, portraits, etc....
And the message "Meet us at Pax East!"
Will we see the long awaited announcement next week? What do you think?

I am skeptical about this given games like Rogues or Raiders or whatever...
This isn't a fantasy universe, Ubisoft. I seriously can't state that enough.

I'd expect to see some reuse from Raiders stuff if it has been scrapped as rumored.
We will see. Ubisoft has a bad record, so they have to put something so we can recover some kind of faith.

Indeed, it looks like images of things from old heroes games, but with graphics I haven't seen before (i.e. remake), and they look 2D. Points to another 2D minigame of some sort, which I have zero interest in. I see no reason to play a half game when I could play a real game, it isn't like there is a shortage of games.

Maybe because they are not from Heroes of Might and Magic games but from Might and Magic games. There is difference between these titles.

I agree that slapping an X to the title was not the best of ideas. The M&M crowd would no doubt have a lot of expectations.

I think it would not be only the crowed in the community. If this will be true, it will be a contribution to one of THE RPG series in game history, and even the press part of the world will look at this with a large intrest. This could be more to much to handle.
For example The old games were classical "dungeon" games with 4+ characters, How do they plan to make this work in modern time. DA style?
I'm very interested in the way how they plan to do it, instead of what will the result be, and how good will it be.
