Will heros ever be like RomeTW??

I was wondering when will the day come when we can actually see our units on the battle field for real, like in Rome TW

image how cool it would be to give orders to 100 spearman and they move in formation to attack that awesome looking massive titan???!!

the core game-play will NOT CHANGE AT ALL the game will remain turned based only the "translation" of actions will be better

I think it would be wonderful

High in tactical approach to MMHeroes?

Nope. Not yet, anyway.

You would need a massive amount of video and sound processing to do so and, the ability to accellerate the battle scenes on a huge battle field beyond the one currently used in all of the currently played titles.

You would need a humongous amount of tech advances acceptance levels as for TBS games of this size to be fully adopted onto today's and tomorrow's game market. A fully expanded 8 core machine that is only affordable to rich and enthusiastic at this very moment.

Let see if their(Apple Computer Division) 12 core, cylinder format of a thermal cooled configuration will ever take off in the right now's market. Plus, if a 128 bit or, 256 bit Operating System will, ever, show its presence onto an aging population of buyers-users(SOHO mostly).

Rome TW is way ahead of its time and, will, probably, never see, the day when PCs can use such advanced tactical hands-on battle controls in a really fast pace in order to lower the time consumption of each game.

Keep the thought alive, though. You can never know what the future has in store for us.
