Your dream H3 Hero Class !
There's consensus that the only worthwhile heroes are Might ones (turning off level5 spells like Fly, Dimension door helps). Tazaar, Crag Hack, Barbarians, Beastmasters, Overlords. But neither of these classes is perfect. What would be your perfect hero class ?
- starting primary skills/secondary skills
- primary skill distribution ? (All values must be multiples of 5%, 0% not allowed; distribution may change after level 9)
- secondary skill distribution ? Each skill gets a weight between 0 and 10. The sum of weights must be 112. No more than 3 skills are allowed to be at 0.
- specialty ? Only specialties already present in the game.

I'd say Crag Hack is quite close to the perfect hero, not much tweaking needed.

Oh really ? But, as a barbarian, he has 55% Attack and 35% Defense. It could be better: 85% Attack, 5% Defense.
His secondary skills leave something to be desired, too - Advanced Offense. How about Basic Offense and Basic Logistics instead ? Or Basic Offense, Basic Tactics ?

I like mephala a lot (how she looks like and her special) and I like tazar and kyrre.
I like gundula more than crag hack. He may not be better than hack I don't know, but I like him more just because of the starting secondary skills.
all other heroes are pretty much crap (magic specialty heroes are so useless because there's so much counter to their special - resistance skill, orb of inhibition, recanter's cloak, resistance artifacts - Too lame)
also I like alkin, monere, and maybe orrin, too although I am not a big fan of the leadership skill.
But, seriously, apart from these select several heroes all the others shouldn't even exist. They just add more choices to the game and that's all
