The HoMM trivia questions
okay, a contest is at hand!
a trivia of HOmm and MM,just becouse no one seemed to make one in a long time..
and im bored.
so without further a due , the rules
each day i will post few questions,
the one who answers the best will recive most points.
each Monday and new tier of question will be posed.
so here they are:
1: who was Rolland Court wizard,and what was hes best achivment
2:who poisoned Nicolas Gryphonheart and what became of him
3:What are the contested lands?
4:Name a famous judge
5:Name a famous Crusader
6:who is the weakest red dragon?
7:name 1 person who is mentionble one way or another in 4 MM's
8:Baracadimoium most infamous enemy is?

5,6,8 are wrong.
4 and 3 are acceptable answer though not what i meant.
this is not only Heroes related,but MM too. so that's why you wouldn't know them.
3. Harmondale.

5.Rolland is a knight , not a crusader. I meant Sir Quixote
6. Mecorack the red,without immunity to fire magic makes him the weakest red dragon. the only way the beat him is with the fireball wand.
8. The biggest enemy is known to be Tarnum the immortal hero. he is the one who struck baracadium's general gavin magnus. making him immortal.
that happened before it became Baracada.

I thought the name of the wizard empire in time of Tarnum was Bracaduun, though I could be wrong.

ill have to change to rules though,since there are so "many" people in here.

5: He managed to get all pieces of artifacts which were required to create Armor of Damned and Cloak of Undead king! Other answer: he managed to manipulate Gem and Crag to fulfil his orders
6: King Roland?

8: I thought Yog but then I remembered he was a genie

5: Probably manipulating Vinneas Filmar into power, turning King Gryphonheart into a lich, and conquering half of Erathia. Too bad it backfired on him...
6: I'm assuming you mean Catherine's absence from Erathia, since she never ruled Enroth, her husband Roland did. General Kendal ran Erathia until Catherine returned.
7: Xenofex was replaced by (ugh) Lucifer Kreegan (could you get a more stereotypical name for a devil?). I'm not sure if you mean how did Xenofex fall, or how did Lucifer fall, but I'm going to guess Xenofex, in which case the answer is the heroes of MM VII did him in, in between RoE and AB.
8: Duke Winston Boragus.
Oh, and Archibald replaced King Gryphonheart's lich as ruler of Deyja... For a very short term.

I'll give it a try:
1. Tae Ethelon - angel from Lysander's campaign in Heroes 4
2. I'd go with Xex, Xeron's friend. Xeron was half-human
3. He killed Nimbus and became leader of Necromantic order in Deyja. He also became the King of Deyja as the throne was empty at the moment
4. Don't know
5. I'd go with assempling Armor of the Damned and Cloak of the Undead King
6. Wilbur Humphrey
7. Lucifer Kreegan III replaced Xenofex, I don't know how exactly he was killed
8. Duke Winston Boragus, leader of Krewlod (before Kilgor)

i except most of theese answers except the fallowing:
angels could be ment from H5-H6. so a famous angel could be Sarah or Uriel from H6.
famous devil couldn't be Xeron becouse he is half human, therefore i ment Xenofex or lucifer kreegan
xex also works for me. or even Nymus since she apears in 3-4 HoMM's and in books.
Forsty answers the 3'rd question best so ill award him only for that answer
4 is temple of Baa is an acceptle answer, thought MM6 had a diffrent virsion of such one temple.

6) Sorry, this question is pretty meaningless to me, I have no idea what answer you could be looking for. Instead of explaining what you wanted/meant after the fact each time, why not just work on your phrasing a little more? No offense meant

8. I will go for Mysterio the Magnificent and Gavin Magnus. Magnus is the catatonic one (obvious) and immortal, and Mysterio seeks the way to become immortal (as Gavin Magnus)

I believe the Emerald Island Dragon has the same stats as the Mega Dragon of the Lands of the Giants.
Also one can melee the Emerald Island dragon as well, it's a lot faster, but a little riskier.
3-4 clubs (speed 30), piper for heroism and chaplain for bless, DotG pedistal, total of 75% (50% + 25%) fire res from well and pedistal. Add "of fire" to each club via the fire aura spell for 1 - 6 damage more pr. attack.
I also remember making a team of 1 sorc, 2 druids and 1 archer. Investing in fire magic. I don't remember if I hired an Apprentice/Mystic or if they're even available at Emerald Island. Anyway, they'd sufficient mana with a minimum of mana potions to deal 1300 damage by fire bolt, which only costs 2 mana each cast, and deals 1-3 x skill level.
I guess one could do the same with mind blast, as it has the same mana cost, but deals 3 more damage pr. cast, i.e. 12 more pr. round.
