Playing Chronicles campaigns in SoD

I've got the gog.com version of Heroes 3 Complete and Heroes Chronicles. I've been playing H3 campaigns with the wonderful HD mod, and I'm about to move to playing the Chronicles campaigns. However the HD mod does not support Heroes Chronicles, and the prospect of going back to small 4:3 scaled screen doesn't look too appealing.

So I had a thought. Heroes Chronicles, as far as I understand, is Shadow of Death minus multiplayer and all other maps and campaigns.

Is it then possible to extract the Heroes Chronicles campaigns, and play them as 'Custom Campaign' in my Heroes 3 Complete with HD mod?

Is it possible? Has anyone done this? Is there anything I would be missing from the experience if I do this?

i remember a thread in the library where someone revealed the extracted campaigns of Heroes Chronicles, i hope it was moved or deleted.

Actually the only thing that makes chronicle unique are those CGs and special avatar for Tarnum.,

I believe there was a program that could extract maps from original h3 campaigns, and could be used to get WoG ones too. If you manage to find it, then maybe you will be able to use it for Chronicles too.
