Art Direction

While the art direction for Heroes 7 seems to be improved from Heroes 6, I'd really like to capture the attention of Limbic for suggestions for art design, creatures in particular.

Firstly, please don't repeat the horrendous colour schemes of Heroes 6. Someone posted on a different thread that Dungeon was 50 shades of purple! It was the same for every faction, please vary the colour schemes as you design the new units. (First signs from the gameplay demo look good for this)

Secondly, while Heroes is a fantasy based game, you can still go overboard with a creatures appearance. I would really like to see this scaled back to something similar to Heroes 3. 5 was to cartoony, and 6 was really over the top. Make the units look badass without making them look ridiculous.

This thread is not for discussion of town screens however, that is a whole different discussion I don't want to touch.

I believe Ubisoft is responsible of the general art direction, or at least of factions (remember that creature models are outsourced to Puppetworks)
