H3. I was young, and played a few games over the course of weeks with my family. Eventually, I had my own computer and could play it by myself. Never was smart enough to figure out a few things (How does Attack and Defense work? Why did the Angel always seem to go first? What is that Basilisk doing, and why is it so cool?) though some I figured out in time. Played the later ones, but have yet to play H1 and 2.

H4. I still remember the entire "To all things comes an end." monologue from the beginning. Never really was good at the game, but I really liked hanging around the town screens and listening to the music, especially the Nature/Preserve one. It was later that my brother's friend introduced me to H3 and really drew us in.

Heroes III. Two of my classmates were discussing the to-be-released Heroes IV and I got interested. The classmate I was friendlier with advised me to play Heroes III first and gave me a copy of his disk. Played it..loved it.

HoM&M III: The Restoration of Erathia. Played the demo that was on a CD attached to a gaming magazine (in those times it was still the best way to get your hands on demos, cus common internet with good transfer was still in diapers in my country) and was instantly hooked. I remember the demo featuring the Dead and Buried scenario. Though its worth mentioning that my older brothers friends already new Heroes 2 at that time and were praising it...

I introduced it to my friends later. I even remember we were kinda LARP-ing HIII when playing with my friends outside (when not playing Hot Seat of course).

H3 was my first one. During the first two years in University, I stayed with an uncle of mine and his family. I bought my first computer and my little cousin talked me into H3, which he'd heard of from his school coleagues. That was it. For quite some time my typical day was like this: morning to evening attending University lectures and labs, evening to night studying, 22:00 - 02:00 playing H3, 02:00 - 06:00 sleeping. Ah, those days...

H2. It was among the first games I've played on my friend's computer and I immediately fell in love with the game. Graphics(for that period), music, atmosphere, everything was perfect.

I discovered franchise with H2 but it was shortly before H3 came out. Therefore I played mostly H3, and went back to H2 around the time H5 came out. I still had great games in H5 later on.
