Visions & reduce monster agression artifacts

It seems that the spell 'Visions' is ignoring the reduced monster agression boni from (enhanced, option enabled) artifacts like ambsassador's sash.

With Diplomatics Hero: Visions told, Stack will join for xxxxxx amount of Gold. Stack joined w/o any payment.

bug/intended?



edit: w/o those artifacts equipped, Hero had to pay the expected amount of gold

Well, you have to read the scripts to understand how it works. Is not because you have the artefacts that, when clicking on monster, anything will change. The trigger for enhanced artefacts is the battle start (!?BA0). So, visions, artefacts, doesn't matter if not yet battle.

yea i know. im not pointing at the artifact script. Its the Visions Spell that has no clue that those artifact exists but it should know. So maybe the vision spell could be rewritte/fixed so that it checks if and how many -1 agression items the hero wears to give a correct return.


edit: as far as i see on first noobglance its an object trigger

There is a second one here:

Anyway, both triggers occur when you already engaged battle.

found it, yea. ok, so the main question remains, could the vision spell be altered that it takes the artifacts into account for calculation?


btw (and slightly OT)

i have statemans medal, diplo ring and sash on same hero - but i cant get it assembled :-/
even though enhanced artifact script is enabled and option 178 is disabled (forbid combos)

No, it can't. There is no way to know if hero casts a spell on adventure map. No trigger for that, although there is a trigger to cast automatically a spell (OW) but not to identify something being cast. Dead end.

It does, but is not coded properly. You will only receive a message when the last of three artifacts is picked from ground. Then it works, but in hero screen you will have no hint about.
