Think it through, your idea is really bad. You will need 2 extra mastery levels and you will need 30 levelups to fill up only 3 skillslots. So in practice all heroes will have only 3 skills, on your tiny maps 2.5

You wouldn't need extra master levels. But yes, 5 would be too much to be able to level up all six skills. I think 4 instead of 3 would be better, especially for smaller maps. I just think that it would be great to be able to choose more abilities per skill. The problem I have right now is that at least 2 abilities per skilltree are a must have and due to that there are too many abilities you would never ever choose. With one more ability per skill it is possible to give those unused abilities a chance when you reach a high level (30+). I normally play with 3x more experience and the less exp per level for levels after 25 mod. Reaching level 40 mostly doesn't happen but 30-35 for the final stages of the game is pretty common.

Great mod! Good work.
However, I only need few changes for fortress coz summ and des are realy useless...
Can you show me few tutorials how to do what you just did, so I can change whatever I want when I want ^^
Also do you know how to change exp needed for lvl up? So I can have some chance to reach lvl 40 on custom maps.

Hey there

Ill give ya a tutorlial:

1. Open your data Folder
2. in there is a data.pak - open it with 7Zip or winrar
3. Extract the files
4. mark the files - press right on them and remove the "read-only" hog
5. Change them

Your skill file is in GameMechanics - RPGStats - skills

Well, regarding the question of more than three perks per skill, I am not able to change the core mechanics or even the exact perks, just the requirements, so I won't be able to help with that.

I have found skills in RefTables folder, and no matter what I do it wont work...

In UserMODs folder I put .h5p file containing GameMechanics-RefTables-skills

I changed this:

<Class>HERO_CLASS_RUNEMAGE</Class>
<dependenciesIDs>
<Item>HERO_SKILL_ENCOURAGE</Item>
<Item>HERO_SKILL_RUNIC_ARMOR</Item>
<Item>HERO_SKILL_MENTORING</Item>
</dependenciesIDs>

And I also made sure that mentoring needs refresh rune and sap magic not anymore. So each one: lead, summ and enl now needs 1 rune, but it wont work again...

Do you have the exact file structur like in the data.pak?

Most of the time thats the solution.

Everything is as same as Sligneris's file 1.2.
I compared and everything is the same except edits of course.
His works, mine wont...

Also Sligneris, your desription of 1.2 file isnt right. For your AP you need ignite, runic armor and preparation.
