How do oyou chat t a specific player in multiplayer?
Ok TAB is for chat, but how do u whisper to ally?

You use external communication tool such as Skype, or any of dozens of programs offering chat.

no way to do that with random people in HD edition
but I remember it was something with F1, F2 etc some combination, I used it back in the day to whisper

Although this reply might be a bit late, my recollection is that to whisper to a specific player, you need to press F# (replace # with a number, of course) corresponding to what color they are:
F1 - Red
F2 - Blue
F3 - Tan
F4 - Green
F5 - Orange
F6 - Purple
F7 - Teal
F8 - Pink

thanks, i was thinking about soemthing similar, unfortunately it doesnt work in the HD edition
