I really like the waterfalls. You can make some pretty nice 3D illusions with them I think.

And I already tought I had poor designing skills before seeing that.

Well, you really have'em, but that is another reason for you to train. Do it as I do, concentrate, and calm. Time is almost needed to achieve good thinks. You think Mona Lisa/Gioconda has been drawed that easy, in 1 minute ? No, It took a week, or even more.
It is only the morale. Take time to train, if you want the things go good.

I mean, I would never be able too "see" how that could have been done.

@Husham - Leonardo Da Vinci took years just to find a model for the "enigmatic" smile. Art needs a kind of devotion our fast consuming world is mostly unable to recognize, just you think that a book like "Fifty Shades of Grey" sould 10 million copies in six weeks.

About Alladin's lamp:

I've copied/paste the Alladin's lamp in a map i've created.

The lamp appears in yellow, like an object.

But when i've started a new game, i've reached the Alladin's lamp with a hero and nothing was happen... No effect...

I don't know if Alladin's Lamp need a special condition or anythings else to active her effect...

It doesn't have a function. It's merely a decoration object.

Ok but it is not a red object.
When you look Alladin's Lamp in map editor it is a Yellow like the other triggers.

Maybe an effect will be added, in the future.

Alladin's Lamp was an object in Hmm1 or Hmm2, insn't it ?

First of all... Not all objects are supposed to trigger something. Did you ever used ERA and edit an object ? It is supposed to just allow you pass, not to trigger something. For example if you place it in the midle of the road, you need to pass it, then go further. Anyway, it should be added a special effect, or simply getting a Djin

ERA has a solid map editor. It really would be on your benefit at least getting it.
But if you want help with map editing, contact me on HCM (and upload a link to download the map too), or contact Lizard Warrior
He teached me how to map edit that good. I mean, he showed me, but some peoples like Maurice did too

Judging from his link to his maps and the fact that I've played "Supreme Domination" I'd say he doesn't need your help at all. Why are you giving him tips when you are yet to complete a good map? Also he makes maps for HotA, why would he want ERA map editor?

@spike I think the lamp has been used in one HotA map only and its function was probably hex edited and not done in the map editor. For now your only option is to use it as decoration.

Ok thanks for the informations ;-)
But if I have all understood, ERA is associated with the mod Wake of Gods, isn't it ?
I have played a little bit with this mod, and I don't like.

I really respect the work of all the programmers and developers of the WOG project, because it is a hard work, and they did nice job.
But i don't like the philosophy...

I prefer HotA, for me, it's the best mod, and the map editor is very nice. :-)

Thank you for your informations Pellish.
Now i just hope that in the next version of HotA, all the missing animated objects will be integrated. (Fire column, Waterfalls, Ruined Subterranean Gate...)
And why not, a new effect for Alladin's Lamp ? lol (i can dream ^^)
Maybe a similar effect, like the Sphnix enigm from WOG or another...

Did you really played on my Supreme Domination map ?
What is your opinion about this map ?
For me all the critics are good, it help me to be a better Mapmaker.

I've worked, 1 month, 4h/day to create this map, and the result makes me happy.
But I know that my maps are not perfect, and if you don't like them or if you find an issue, don't hesitate to inform me. ;-)

Yes, I don't like ERA/WoG too, but they did hard job. Whatever , what was I saying was that if you got the ERA, you could edit the looking of the castle,  ya' know ?
And, yes, it shall be included in the ''NEXT'' version, because...
1.3.8 IS OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT
Now you could have a bit more special effects on the map, and added a few thinks, 3 more maps, fixed some bugs, and added the Bargain Dunes
