Strange battle here. Crag has 3 spell power but his expert slow is "magically" dispelled by some evil entity same round. Playing Crag Hack campaign, look at this battle. Thant opponent.

yes is new era but I already played 5 campaigns in it without any problem. The skeleton stacks, when moving, are dispelling any mass spell, even if Thant casts shield, it is removed one turn later when skels move. On the other side, if I cast mass haste, it stays. So obviously the bug removes any spell on thant side.
If there was a way of automatically casting dispel every turn in SoD, we would have heard about it before, don't you think?
It looks to me like it has to be some after WoG code.
I've "almost" forgotten events in RoE and rare in SoD. I had not cared until I managed myself to AI. I don't know why I had researched how One artifact was sometimes the same events But there wasn't! I never seen in WoG

Even with all options disabled WoG (and especially Era as it based on TE which has many hardconed changes in gameplay and it may be not so easy to find and remove them all) still do many changes in original game code. This changes may cause bugs or contain undocumented features, so if this bug never appeared before in pure SoD, it is most probably WoG/Era bug.
It is awkward...

I know about Jeddite and Nagash hardcoded new specialties. Which I reseted in SoD mod. There is also hardcoded graphic for hero screen, a few areas, which I didn't know where to reset. Other than that, never noticed anything strange. Until today.

Not directly related, but another example of an internal hardcoded change between SoD and WoG/ERA is that the latter has changes in .h3m loading, even for RoE/AB/SoD formats. Some changes are internally, nothing to do with WoG/ERA content.
That's weird. I tested same battle under exactly same conditions on custom map, bug doesn't occur. On the other side, I started SoD Sandro campaign (under ERA), and as soon as I cast mass slow, is dispelled next move.
To be able to state is 100% campaign bug, I quickly made a campaign then started under same conditions, bug didn't occur. ()
So for me, bug is related to original campaigns played under era edition. No clue how this could be solved.

Anyways, human only can cheat, AI can't. I think is a sort of bug, or maybe the map some plugins or something ?

Salamandre and Husman are old mapmaker soo my In The Land of Nod and Mystery Tour are big bug. I can't add on other maps because they aren't here! I know I've played dispelled slow
