There are so many people waxing fantastic about MM3 being the best game. It wasn't. H5 was way superior. And there a lot of people wanting to burn Ashan to the ground and go back to that universe. Open your eyes man.

Well nobody is criticizing Heroes 1 and 2 for being more worse than others. Heroes V was quite good, but some have good reasons not to proclaim it the best, the most often reasons are that it takes too much time to load and that strange lore/story (since they gave the story in the middle, without much background or sense what happened earlier). But for its time, it is a rival to Heroes III, in a way.

H3 was basically the last game to work properly out of the box, so while H5 had some good mechanics, the costant jamming and running slow got on people's nerves. The storyline was also frankly crap, as was the world-building. The reason most people want it gone is because it's become clear that Ubisoft doesn't give a f*** about the game, slap it together, rush it out, and hope to hell people will overlook the fact that it's constantly jamming. This is, I suspect, a lot of the reason H6 was the first game since H2 to get only one XPack.

Personally, I'm just glad I stopped involving myself with these discussions, shifting to the role of an observer whenever I really visit here. It is a draining experience and I'm really surprised that some of you still continue this. Agreeing to disagree would always be an option and the fact that Ubisoft games are different from 3DO games is rather obvious.

That is a nice try, but I personally think that it will not really change the state of things, you know..

Well I generally don't get involved myself, but I disagreed with that statement so much I felt I had to.
