HoMM Similar Games & HoMM Total Conversion Mods List
Hey guys! 
Some of you probably recognise this list from years ago here or some of the other Heroes of Might & Magic related forums out there and its time for a big update (& sadly the old thread doesn't allow editing).
Long story short, in 2011 I created a Heroes of Might & Magic section on my oldschool retro website paying tribute to the original games along with some of the great HoMM total conversion/sequel fan projects out there (alive or dead) to make sure that they are never forgotten and can inspire other talented fans to create new HoMM related projects in the future. There are a gazillion mods & maps out there for HoMM games so I'm more interested in just tributing the big total conversion projects that expand the original game. I also created a list of other games out there that are similar to HoMM. For these lists I collected pics, vids, demos, and information for as many of them as possible. I could use some help from the community with this list as I'm sure there's more I don't know about. This is my latest summary of the website list below.

(Note: Originally built in 2001 this website is still deliberately very late 90s early 2000s retro in design. So if you’re not nostalgic for old retro websites with music, animating gifs & left click browsing then you probably won’t like it)

Happy new year guys! It's been a while but I've been working on my site and have made the following additions to the HoMM related games list. Unfortunately the forum isn't letting me update my first post in this thread but my website list is up to date.

Changes made to existing HoMM content:
General – Contents menu added.
General – All back buttons changed to utilise HTML bookmarks. Now users don’t have to re-scroll down the entire page constantly!
General – Fixed some missing slashes in code.
General – Added more Good Old Games & Steam buy links.

I just recently found out about the H4 HD project the other day and saw some of their cool HD castle screens. Very excited about that one too!

I didn't post it, as it's still in progress, but hopefully they'll be able to finish it sometime during 2017.

Sorry guys I'm a bit behind with updating this list and my website list with all the new suggestions from various forums and my own finds. Will hopefully do a proper update soon!
Just found this amazing HoMM Civ3 project too!

Well that's embarrassing. I actually cover the Elemental/Fallen Enchantress/Sorcerer King series in both my Age of Wonders and Master of Magic tribute websites but somehow missed it in my HoMM similar games list. Cheers mate I'll fix that too lol!
