Poll Question:
Best hero speciality (HOMM 3)
Hello there.
I would like to hear your opinion on which hero speciality is the best in HOMM 3. I have excluded Necromancy, Archery, +2 speed and other good specialities, for my own personal reasons, so please choose which of these 6 specialities is the best.
In the comments you can argue why you think it's best and if you wan't also which of the six specialities is the worst and why.

IIRC sorcery isn't worth much, though I don't remember why.
I find resistance very cool, because you can achieve total spell immunity against hostile spell, and iIRC, not at that high level. The down side is that only one hero has this, and I don't think he's a particular good primary skill spread.
Intelligence is either very good or not needed depending on the circumstances. If you need tons and tons of mana on some special maps, it can be required.
Offense and Armorer spec. is good for Barbarians and Beastmasters because it enhances an already strong hero. Especially the Offense + Barbarian is very good. Though some like e.g. Neela, I don't think these specialties are that good without the already very good heroes.
I don't remember how the logistics specialty works, but I'd guess as long as we aren't taking specific heroes into consideration that it'd probably be the best as it can be used by scouts as well as mains very well.

There is no real "best" speciality, but Necromancy is top dog for me 
One thing though, magic type specialities depend on the skills you have in order to really shine.

I chose logistic as the best (duh!), and I'd say intelligence is the worst because all heroes get enough mana to win the battles. But... I'm newbie to heroes, so I might be wrong about intelligence 
As for logistics, well, I'll pick it even over necro, or archery, or +2 speed. I just love this skill, especially since Kyrre is one of my fav heroes of all time

So obviously that does depend on the map.
But recently held tournament, 'Mirrors' on HeroesWorld suggests logistic speciality heroes are very powerful on mirror maps.
Same goes for XL+U maps.

Oh Salamandre will you never stop bothering me? When did I say Sorcery was the most powerful speciality ever? I just asked for peoples opinions. I don't think Sorcery will get many votes, but you don't know if there is some Malekith, Zydar or Styg fans out there...
Honestly I kinda expected Logistics to win, but what if the map is full of water or swamp? Of course all this is situational, but I just asked for the general opinion.

I chose Intelligence since I mostly play XL maps. Combined with WoG these maps result in colossal battles very often where you just can't have enough mana. Sorcery is completely useless at that point, whilst Offense, Armorer and Logistics are useful at any time.
A poll for the worst one would be even more interesting I guess. Though I'm not quite sure what could possibly beat Eagle Eye.

Well EE is a way to potentially get haste, slow, blind, resurrection, armageddon.. if only the skill wasn't % based..

When I said worst speciality I still meant the 6 skills mentioned here. But yeah there is no doubt Eagle Eye is pretty bad, also First Aid and heroes like Melodia with Luck AND Fortune...

Main hero gets TP and or DD, logistics needs L or larger map or restricted conditions to shine. Offense is useful on any hero in any situation but especially on Crag

Gundula is better than Crag, she has both offense and wisdom and can learn water magic, which means mass bless for Stronghold troops.
