Alex-ander's work
Will we ever get to see more of his released? He's done tons of work for different town projects - some of which will may never see the light of day. The quality of many of his units is the closest I've seen to NWC-quality. I wonder if we'll ever get to see this work released for other purposes?
I realize his work for Kronverk and Cathedral may forever stay in the vaults of HotA should they ever decide to make it but I feel like it's worth asking for. :-)

simple answer: I don't think so... maybe Nephretes will do something similar but afaik Alex-ander haven't the time for this stuff.

if he wanted to share he would ve done it until now, like he did with some old cove models and some dwarves, but he hasnt. Also, afaik, some of them are not even animated, they re photoshopped.

Certainly Kremlin town has gone with disk failure, not sure about the others. Probably there is nothing left to share

That's a shame. No doubt we still have talented 3d-artists like Nephretes who will continue to bring us top quality units but it aches to know that these units by Alex-ander may never see the light of day.

Alex-ander is truly a legend among Heroes of Might and Magic 3 modders. His works were (are?) great and their quality had been the closest for NWC one for years (fortunatelly recently many modders with great graphic abilities appeared and showed their work, like Nephretes).
It's sad that this dwarf-like town called Kronverk is gone, as Warmonger said. From magnificent "new town concepts" and materials from Alex-ander this one looked the best in my oppinion. From single units I'd choose hell stallion.

The army in the OP fighting the fortress army-- that's for a faction inspired by Eastern European folklore and culture right? Did it have a name?

It's a faction from Russian folklore called Kremlin (never released due to loss of units graphics and non-made town screen).
