Morele is very good factor expecially for high level creatures. So why i think Necropolis is most overrated town in the game? Because they don't gain good morale.

Morale is good when it procs, however you cannot control the proc. But it's the undead nature of immunity to blind, berserk etc that makes the Necropolis powerful. It is also nasty to face Necropolis with Spirit of Opression in play. -1 Morale + -2 Morale from Mass Sorrow is extremely annoying, as it means 25% freeze chance.

Mind spell immunity isn t big advantage. Easy to find badge of courage or pendants. Anyway castle heroes have water spell. They can easily cure or dispel.

Mind spell immunity is one of the biggest advantages.
It is not that easy to find the BoG or wield the correct pendant.
Secondly, water magic has nothing to do with what TOWN you pick. It follows which hero you pick. However, if you get berserked or blinded on the unit you had a chance to cast on, then it is useless. Not to mention the fact that while some players use water magic, Earth/Air/Fire tends to be most common because you always want a Barbarian for the map.

Negative look dont work. Luck and morale dont works in counterattack. And works only to 3 points. Big mistakes... If it it will be repair and increased to 6 points it can be powerfull abilities.

Luck could be awesome, with negative luck and chances to deal 2x dmg from spells.

in H5 Rangers owns game with their 100% Luck + 25% dmg bonus.

I personally think luck worked best in H4. Positive luck reduces damage taken and negative increases damage taken.

Nah, Earth, Water and Fire is best 3 magic schools combo. I prefer Tazar over Barbarians, even better are Dessa and Gundula than Crag Hack.

By the time you got your Tazar to the end fight level you will have been stomped and picked clean by Mister Hack three times over. xD
Besides Crag>Gund because of better attack rating and spell schools, it is a no brainer really.

I think Earth and Water are best magic schools. Air isn't best because DD/Fly banned. Fire isn't best because they have only 2 really good spell (Berserk, Curse)

Yeah it does largely depend on your opponent. E.g. if your opponent lets you freely get a strike in on his power stack, e.g. imagine a main battle where both heroes have very good Att/Def stats, one side is Castle since you like them so much, the other is Dungeon since you like Dragons so much... for simplicity we make their Att/Def stats equal.

Say the Dungeon player found his lvl 7 dwell first week, his town had already harpies build and he manages to get Dragons week 1. Then he has 2 Dragons week 1 day 7, he buys Portal of Summoning on week 2 day 1, so he now has a total of 6 Dragons.. he's certain he'll win, yet he keeps on assembling dragons, getting them upgraded to black dragons and getting castle during week 2 and week 3 he attacks his opponent with a main stack of 11 Black Dragons. His opponent didn't find his lvl 7 dwell, but got Angels + Castle first week and therefore have 5 AA's and some unupgraded Angels as well.

The Dungeon player is so certain of his victory he'll send his Black Dragons off to attack the AA's as soon as possible, then the Castle player takes the retal with some weak stack... and then he frenzies his 46 crusaders.. (let's say he found 2 swordsmen dwellings..) before Frenzy these would deal approx. 685 damage at maximum, enough to remove 2 Black Dragons.. which is very impressive, but after Frenzy they'd deal amazing 3360 at maximum, enough to destroy the entire stack, assuming Frenzy grants the Crusaders maximum attack bonus.

If we're having fun imagining things anyway, let's in stead have vastly bigger armies, but with the same percentage relation between the amount of units on each side, then the castle guy goes ahead and resurrects the weak stack and next round he sacrifices it to bring back all his AA's, just to get sacrifice in there as well.

Frenzy works great on hydras. Especially if the opponent doesn't expect it.

Just a quick question, is dwelling phasing still allowed in official games? I thought that was banned long ago due to how gamebreaking it was and that it counted as having more than 1 7th dwelling?
I recall a game when I had 3 Dungeon towns (2 in own zone flagged w1 + 1 in treasure zone that I managed to flag M1W2D3) and aquired 1 extra Giant from each portal. I ended up with 17x Titans during M1W3D1...

Don't ask me about rules, I stopped online mainly because everyone wanted rules. Best game: no rules (except diplomacy ofc).

And I don't even know what is dwelling phasing. Heroes starts to sound like quantum physics, too smart for me.

Dwelling phasing:
Say I start with Tower and flag the 7th Dwell on M1W1D6 but at the same time have managed to capture both my secondary towns and both happens to be Dungeon. Now when I build the summoning portal I can instantly recruit 1 Giant from EACH portal + the dwelling. This means I will have 4x Giants during M1W1D6 instead of the otherwise maximum 2x.

This is repeated over and over and practically means having more than 1x 7th dwell.
Dungeon was stupidly broken because of this since it meant they always had +2 dragons from their 7th map dwell every new week. That meant an additional 1+ dragon a week, and 3x more dragons in the end fight.

In my example in my previous post, I went from the Tower cap of 9x Titans M1W3D1 to 17x Titans at the same time period.

I had always thought this was banned and called for immediate cheating if used in a online game, since it only worked if you took the portals first (I have only done this single player for lols)

So what? You will get a bunch of titans or else, so he will have to play much better and hit&run you to death until he balances power. Is a challenge to win vs better army.

Look, I know some people are very picky about rankings and a lost game is a tragedy. But having such good surprises -as 3 dungeons, in a game, is also part of the fun and addiction.

For me it is not about rankings Sal, only the chance for a good fight and to play by the rules (since most people online demands it).
Perhaps I should make a new thread to catch SAG's attention or PM him about this? Cause I like to have a good grip of the rules, just in case.
I agree with you though, some rules do spoil the experience.
