About Xeron and Mutare

In my map I have added Boragus, Roland (and Catherine instead of Sorsha) and Adrienne (with Wisdom and Adv. Fire Magic) They can appear as a 17th hero if random hero is chosen, they can also appear in taverns along all the other heroes. (But they can't be chosen manually from the start)

I'm also considering adding Xeron and Mutare, but I fear they might be overpowered, since they specialise in 7th level units. But Mutare starts with Estates which you probably don't wan't on a main hero and Xerons bonus to devils are'nt that big.
But do you think Xeron and Mutare would be overpowered or not?

I don't think so—I've observed (to both relief and some disappointment) that high tier creature specialists aren't that great, since the creature gets 1 A/D for every x levels, not 1 A/D for every level after level x, as the descriptions seemed to indicate. This means that a level 7 specialist would, in normal maps, only see 3 or 4 points at most.
The extra point of speed is nice, sure, but it's far from OP in my understanding.

Level 1 specialists, however...

Yes but Xeron and Mutare work differently from other creature specialists:
Xeron always gives +4 attack, +2 defense and +1 speed to devils and Mutare gives +5 attack and +5 defense to ALL dragons, so I don't know...

Xeron is okay imho... Devils are also expensive and weak in HP. (Exception is random map, where tons of devil buildings are located in underground biome in that case he's quite unstopable) Mutare is quite powerful, won't suggest here since it's a perma "Vial of Dragonblood" it's on same level as Tomes to me but still very specific in case of dragons only, In combination with "Black Dragons" or "Gold Dragons" or Neutral Dragons + "Elixir of Life" it's OP as hell. Speakigng of Elixir of Life... this is something I would add to Inferno, since it's super low HP.

Thanks Paradoxon, but I think they might both be too powerful.
Mutare starts with Tactics and Estates, Estates you probably don't wan't on a main hero, but still she could potentially have all 7 (upgraded) dragons and give +5 att and +5 defense to them all, which means +35 attack and +35 defense! Xeron might be okay, but he has good starting skills Tactics and Leadership and would be the only level 7 specialist, so perhaps not fair. I think I decided against both of them.
But I have added an extra hero for 4 other towns, so that creates a bit more variation.

Btw what do you mean by Inferno and Elixir of Life? Yeah Inferno is very low on HP, at least they have two units without retaliation and HotA's negative luck also helps them out a bit.

It helps out a lil... but Inferno is still super expensive and their only viable tactic is demon breeding on diplomacy.
