Why else, France, the country of excellent wines, rejects Islam?

If you ban alcohol, Russia will nuke the world. Keep them cool.

Victorious, Oleg declared himself the new prince of Kiev. And Kiev grew into the royal capital of a region that became known as the land of the Rus'. Or as we'd say today... Russia.

A century after its birth Kiev was still as pagan as its Viking founders. Its ruler at the time, Vladimir the Great, wasn't an obviously religious man. One chronicler described him as "Fornicator immensus". But Vladimir decided that an up-and-coming city needed one of these fashionable, new-fangled religions. And he came up with his own unusual way of choosing which one. It's said that he asked representatives of Roman Catholicism, Greek Orthodox Christianity, Judaism and Islam to come here and persuade him. "Go on, argue. Convert me." The old Viking warrior was quite interested in Islam until he heard that it would involve giving up alcohol, at which point he said, in effect, "OK, you're out." In the end, he chose Greek Orthodox Christianity.

Andrew Marr’s History of the World.

and later kievan rus was conquered by the Grand Duchy Of Lithuania, and remained under it's and later of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth's rule, until they rebelled in 1648, and were absorbed into the Muscovian empire. Later the Ukrainian SSR was formed by great comrade Lenin. Then there was a great famine no one gives a bleep about. Some time later the USSR collapsed, khokhol SSR became Ukraine. Then they remembered their habit of revolts, and Orange Revolution happened. But the "pro-european" government was no better that "pro-russian" one. Few years later, they revolted again, and the country's engaged in a civil war between NATO backed Kiev and foreign antifa dork supported Donetsk and Lugansk "republics".

And that's my dear friends is brief history of "ukraine", or as I like to call it, Oligarchic Khokhol Maidownistan. Gerojem slava and putin huilo.

Oh yeah I have seen you mention pipe before kip, before I started vaping that was my main way. Cost had a lot to do with it. Can buy a pound lasting 3 months for under 20$, where that would be spent weekly buying ciggerattes. But there are other perks as well. It's a lot quicker than ciggerattes as well (helpful in winter)

But I won't reccoemend it because it's potentially harder on the lungs

I don't know what's inside pipes but I found them to have decent filtration, like when cleaning the stem it had tar all along it on the inside (and that's from light use).

Smoking is a vile habit. It's one of the few things in this world there is literally nothing good to say about. My mother died from lung cancer after a lifetime of smoking 9 years ago. My father in law died from lung cancer after a lifetime of smoking 5 years ago. My mother in law suffers from severely reduced lung capacity after a lifetime of smoking, she only stopped a few years ago. She was admitted to hospital last year with a blood clot in the heart which is likely connected to smoking, and she is currently under suspicion of developing lung cancer.

Younger people who smoke always assume that smoking will not really harm them, they say that many people live to old age while smoking so it's not certain that you will have issues, and many other things in life are dangerous. But fact is almost all people who smoke suffer negative consequences one way or another. I have never met, nor even heard about, an ex-smoker who regretted having stopped.

That was my rant of the month.

@Celf:

Tried waping, not my thing.

As an old fashioned fellow pipe smoking is the way to go for me.

One pack of pipe tobacco (50 grams) lasts me well over 6 months. average price of that is 7 Brussels rubles. So my tobacco expenses would be about 20 brussels rubles a year.

That would be even cheaper if I grew my own. Found my great grandfather's recipe for flavoured tobacco too. would be awesome to try it out.

But the retard "deportee"(broad born in a GuLAG near Irkutsk back in 1958, which indicates one of her parents was a criminal, most likely a jewshooter, since the political prisoners were given amnesty after stalin kicked the bucket) descendant that runs the elderate that I live in, would think that someone's growing that stuff to sell illegally, even though it's completely legal to grow tobacco for own usage.

Yes I smoke, I enjoy smoking. I've smoked tobacco most of my life. Tried giving up a few times but was always miserable when doing so, I then decided not to punish myself anymore - after all we will all die eventually anyway right

I just received this order I placed. It might be a bit less manly (like ordering a daiquiri at a bar) but man is it good. Sweet, mellow and rich. Feeling both the warmth of the smoke and the cooling mint effect at the same time is quite interesting. Also as a bonus the room note smell like chocolate, heartily recommend it.

Manly? Smoking has always been about the pleasure aspect for me, like spending 20 quid on cubans to get a mouth full of ash is not appealing, god forbid if you're a newbie cigar smoker and you inhale that atrocious taste.

Also need to get a pipe prolly have a look at some in the store I mentioned.
