After I bought the game (post 2.0) I was also really surprised to like the game so much. The amount of bugs at the moment is rather small, and none of them are game-breaking.
Just ignore the naysayers on HC and keep having a good time. This crowd is impossible to please anyway ;-)

Agreed with this statement. I'd like to point everyone to the CoC, which states that aggravating another player is not tolerated. Everyone is entitled their opinion, just as long as it isn't aimed at bringing down another poster.

Thank you for your attention!

Thank you Maurice for fighting this losing battle

I commend your dedication to the franchise, not many people would invest 100€ to pre-order a game they can't even play.

I commend developers who try their best to develop the game in 2016 that is able to run on potatoes no offence, but as a pc gamer the whole 'i'd rather spend money on a phone than PC' just sounds silly to me, especially with your ranting about Heroes 7 not working

Also neutrals are not bad at all. And you can never know if enemy waits or not, even when its decision might finally seem quite strange.

I'll be glad to play a duel with you  Especially with New Heroes for Duels mod by Libertad, I find H7 duels to be very enjoyable.

Hi mate, please add me on Uplay and we can play yeah neutrals are pretty smart, i like their compositions too! The game is actually strategically challenging now in MP in so many ways..

My uplay name is is hermes_tri241

Yep, I have to admit that amongst recent Heroes this one is the most complete and comrehensive one. I can't really pinpoint any missing features from it. Just imagine if the game was first released in the state it's in now!

Couldn't have said it any better
H7 is for me an amazing Heroes title, that was unfortunately doomed by the unparalleled incompetence of its developer-publisher disaster duo.

"Just imagine that game is good". You are self-hypnotizing?

Wow, that last mission of the Dwarven campaign was so epic! One of the best I played!

Playing first Ivan mission now, some nice mechanics of having  stacks in your army NOT under your control, lol.

Storywise, it's one of my favourite campaigns too.

By the way, the combat AI is much better now. Units consistently moving out of the Firewall, hiding behind obstacles, and just now the AI activated the rune, pushing my justicars one tile away from his rune priests so that they could shoot!

The campaign was surprisingly good and I certainly liked the story and characters. I also had the chance to play it with random skill system by editing some values - because limbic was too lazy to give you the option Still had some issues but much better than original system.

But Ivan's campaign was so boring that it ruined the good taste the dwarven campaign had left

Btw didn't you get the back and forth neutral pacing within rune areas? I often watched units pace back and forth 10 times(within their turn) before they decided to attack me.

I kinda like Ivan campaign so far. Will see how it will progress.

Yeah there is a buff you can get to make those runes appear. And if you actually try to move your own big units through the runes - you can't. Those runes are bugged and counted as a physical wall object so they prevent pathing. The only way to fix that is to place one of your own runes directly on top of them.

is there a way to unlock Iwan campaign without playing another 2 campaigns? i dislike most campaigns because AI sucks, most campaigns arent much scripted and use skirmish map AI, are there any interesting campaigns worth playing? i just finished haven so far, i guess dwarfen is decent as well but i Need 2 of the Basic ones to unlock iwans

HoMM 7 makes me think of a social project where one releases an incomplete, bugged beta version of the game and watches the reactions of gamers once he pulls the plug on the support.

A corporate waste of imagination and resources, and a truly tragic end to once grand series of games.

In fact, it kinda reminds me of this

except that the 4th season was sort of a stutter.

State of the game?

I know only one thing about this game, right now. Seems to, still, work through Windows 10 Home Edition.

Haven't played it for a good 25% of a years worth in months. Almost forgot about it. Play only Heroes 5 v.3.1 with numerous mods. onto it.

Most of the time, have only time for my numerous fighting games.

The only thing I get to remember about its AI is that its searches for the only Human player on that specific map and makes sure its gangs up with the other ones for crushing that specific human player in no time flat. Probably the main reason I do not tend to plan at reserving myself enough time at playing this *******-up game anymore.

Might and Magic Showdown's name describes the whole game by itself: Online Duel ****. Guess that Ubisoft really is jealous about Capcom's way of developing Street-Fighter 5. Do not buy the DLCs/Season Pass' packs = No more completing the game with more characters and individual story modes. Sounds familiar people? It truly does to me.
