Lol. Just watched Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge. You'd like it, if war scene gore doesn't bother you like nudity does. It's all about how faith lets you pull through.

 They are two sides of the same coin to me. One sorta nasty side and one definitely very evil side. You already know which is which. 
I just cannot "now" see the need for either. i.e. I love to see people give a kiss of greeting on each other's cheeks, even between men. I see nothing wrong with that. However, do I need to see an intimate make-out scene? Well, this mind certainly does not, my imagination can fill in the glorious details without any nose-leading from some "programmer" with too much time and moolah.  And considering the real everyday news where WAR is a real-time full-color HD spectacle masterpiece? I end-up in the very same place and it is not warm and cuddly.

Edward Longshanks was well worth his salt, anyone with the name Hammer of the Scots sends tingles down my spine (don't get me wrong the Scots have to be one of the most loveable people on this island) plus the Irish lad was entertaining.

No, I mean gore, spilled guts, blowing heads, blood etc. People who are sensitive to nudity sometimes don't like that either. It's the story of a medic who doesn't touch rifles and kill but who still insists to serve. It's the true story of this guy, though blown a little out of proportion. It wasn't a bad movie but after the Passion of the Christ, I think Mel Gibson started to emphasize his religiosity too much in his films, it results in one-dimensional characters. Still, from things you write about what faith means to you personally and how it is about actions more than words, I think you would like the movie more than me.

Haha I ended up writing like 4 convoluted paragraphs explaining the spiritual and physical reasons for finding great joy in the deplorable life of Edward the First, but instead of that I simply have one thing in response. In the end the lion will devour the unicorn, so fight highlanders, fight, make the lion pay the just price for his meal.
Not that I'm for one side over the over, just found Edward's cunning and prudence to be superb, really good representation in the film, while Mel Gibson is great it's hard to properly and accurately act out a fellowship/leadership of the heart over the mind.
Believe me or not William Wallace (in the movie, while in real life you can interchange Bruce and William) and Longshanks would've made a great pair (not in matrimony! As co-rulers O.O). William would rule the hearts of men through love and leadership, while Longshanks would see to the more cunning and intrusive aspects of governance. This island would've seen a golden age had any angels or demons had the power or desire to make it so.

lol, snowden never said there were aliens trying to contact us. not in that article, anyway.
funny, how he is being charged with espionage, when he did what the constitution, and our forefathers, would have him do. that tells you how corrupt those in power are. reminds me of what happened at abu grahib(sp?). the whistleblower took all the real punishment.

This thread is now officially a bloody-mess.
My brave countrymen; Our Claymores, Bucklers and Dirks are no match once more against the enemy. Who even knows what a Tank is? Tankard yes but Tank no. Planes? Woodworking tool? Bombers? Ale-farts? "We are a poor people"
We must head back home and sit down together around a peat-fire (wood too, if you can find any)and eat haggis and scones, behind some old story-telling, while we slowly sip some Athol Brose and laugh underneath the starry sky, till we are overcome by slumber again. Thus ended, the rising...before the Aliens came, each looking just like Longshanks.
