cool post  I like a lot of the line-ups (I especially like the scond suggestions of yellow, archmage is just such a fitting and cool creature in the game, sadly not very powerfull, as defender at least).
I like how you made a haunted/ghastly theme at dark, but I was quite shocked to not find the Vampire there

@Liz you're mixing stuff up mate.
1. It is not Dungeon faction, in CQ Medusa is Nature, Harpy is Fire, Manticore is Air, Hydra is Nature, Troglodyte is Fire, DE is Dark, you get the idea.
2. I never had any problem with DE from the old MM games, so why would I in CQ, as contrary to what you say:
3. No it doesn't ressemble Ashan, if you compare to any Ashan DE you will easily notice which is the prostitute and which has class. At best it is the more modern representation that Ashan TRIED AND FAILED to do. I like CQ's DE, it works for me.

Glad you like it mate.
I am currently limited to what is available in the wiki but using all creatures would be ideal yes. I will first focus on what I have here (stats, abilities, maybe lore for etiquette), I'm a bit afraid the screens from my phone will clash visually, is an issue I'm thinking of.

Well, Creature Quest is definitely a very good mobile game. JVC proves once again his know-how and brilliance with regards to strategy. Tracy Iwata's artwork is very intuitive, you could tell what everything is at a glance. The game is fresh and addictive and if it weren't so, I wouldn't have invested my time and money in it.
But it's a mobile game, it's not Heroes. And I wouldn't even want it to be. I can see some parallels and how it could be used as a source of inspiration, but that's about it. For one, it looks way too cartoony and way less epic to be called Heroes. Not to even mention that a large portion of the creatures are absurd for a Heroes game. I am also tired of color coded line-ups that it makes me sick to my stomach and could use a new thematic approach.
So it's fine to imagine things and appreciate the game, but I'd rather have NWC give me a real Heroes game. And to that end, I can only hope that one day the franchise returns to him and the golden age of Heroes returns to us.

Might and Magic I to V and Heroes I and II are more more cartoony than CQ. So cant be named Hereoes :-) In compare of them its realistic game. Criticism must be honest. Grafic CQ is better than NWC MM because there is progress from past time in artists abilities...

Those older might and magic titles were crude-cartoony, whereas CQ is far more cute-cartoony ---- count me as another who just can't compare the two because of that.

that art is very cute and serves its purpose for Creature Quest even though I must admit I would be ignorant to slam it and say it looks like a Chinese Team Erwin knockoff if someone tried to use it for a Heroes game lol
rather lame Ashan garbage it actually reminds me very much of the graphics of the Might and Magic 3, 4 and 5 instead also, a few creatures are basically just an HD update of creatures from that game lol
