Peasants are useful for custom maps. Hordes of peasants!

Coming back to spells... definitely Magic Mirror. It even gets countered by Dispel.

If someone ever needed to counter it... (other than to drain the mana of Coronius, a campaign hero which normally only casts Magic Mirror in all its creatures)

Also, seems like axolotl's 3d work would have been better for H4
