[Wine] Failed to load and compile Lua script
Hi, I'm trying to play the last version of Era on Mac with Wine. I downloaded the last available version of Wine engine, installed Heroes GoG into in, then unpack Era 2.7.7 into installed Heroes GoG folder. The error occurs when I'm running h3era.exe
On Windows it works perfectly.
Another versions of WoG works great on the same Mac Wine engine.
So is it possible to run Era version?

This error sometime occurs in windows version too. To avoid it, we must launch ERA with administrator rights.

There is a workaround for this issue but I don't remember, you can find it if you browse through I think it was the main Era thread.
Edit : Found it.
It did work for me, hope this helps.

It did work for me, hope this helps.
Thank you very much, it helped. But I noticed that in a new Era II version 2.8.2 the installed game on Windows can be run on a new wine engine WS9Wine2.22 without any problems.
Thank you for your help and thanks to the developer for fixing this bug.
