Thanks, Oddy. So what do Canadians do for Canada Day, anyway
Basic celebration stuff. BBQs, fireworks, pool parties, public festivals, moose jousting, hockey stick duels, cook offs, a parade I believe, maple syrup making contests, beaver-offs. You know, the typical Canadian things.

Sounds like fun.

And here i was, hoping the beaver-off was exhibitionism via the removal of female pubic hair...

@Odd

I want to visit your beautiful country art some point cus I'm too lazy to get myself a visa to get myself into Hamerica.

Was thinking Vancouver or Victoria (or both). Maybe you can inspire me to visit some other place though?

Not sure you're being serious or this is another joke like Drakon pulled on my earlier, but in case you are serious;

Well I live in British Columbia and Vancouver and Victoria are both in BC and I can vouch for them 100%. Vancouver and Victoria have a lot of really nice places to visit.

You can take the Sea to Sky Highway all the way up to Whistler. It's a very nice drive. You can go to Stanley Park, the aquarium, or Science World. All 3 of those things in Vancouver itself. There's the Butchart Gardens as well, which is especially amazing this time of the year. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is another site you can visit. Honestly there is so much to do just in the Fraser Valley, most of it in the Vancouver/Burnaby area.

Plus a lot of the areas I mentioned are open year round with seasonal decorations depending on the time of year. At Christmas time for instance a lot of the places are decorated in lights. And we have a really large Christmas light display. The outside of Science World is lit up at night.

Honestly you could go anywhere really. Canada has a lot of beautiful places to visit. Pacific Canada (BC), The Prairie Provinces, Central Canada, Atlantic Canada, and Northern Canada. It all depends on what you are looking for and at what time of year you plan to go. Although I am pretty sure you can find something to do year round.

No this is not a joke. I always had an eye on Vancouver and I really like BC landscapes. At some point I even considered moving to and working in Canada (still might at some point). In my line of work it shouldn't be a problem. Might even take the Alaskan Cruise, it's a popular attraction. This year and next I have other plans, but I eventually might visit. Probably in Fall though, plane tickets will be cheaper then.

The Alaskan Cruise is another good idea. Really beautiful up the coast, although I have never gone personally members of my family have. They say it is amazing.

If you come in the Fall try to aim for late Fall. Summer heat still carries over in the very beginning of the Fall months.

The Capilano Bridge would be an nice sight during the Fall. The mountains would probably be open depending on the snow fall for that year. So skiing/snowboarding would be another option open to you. The Gardens would still be open with more Fall themed flowers. There's also the Grouse Nest. Which is a restaurant on top of Grouse Mountain. You take a gondola up the side of the mountain and get a beautiful view. Especially at night. I think it outlooks the city below, I haven't been able to go yet.

And if you are into it there are numerous trails open that you can hike.

I was wondering about that myself. Tried to find what he was referring to, with no luck.
