Also want a new PC and I will be building one soon but at first I need to decide what exactly do I want. Definitely an i7 and rtx graphics + 16 gigs of ram and 1tb ssd but I can't decide if I want it to be a compact built or a full-sized atx. Found some good looking mid tower cases in this review and cases for mini itx always look nice nad I really cant make a final decision.

Bad news buddy!

This choice of parts for your much newer PC is seriously out-of-date.

As in 7 to 8 years out-of-date. Intel 7 processor is way too costly for nothing, RTX is becoming weak in video and graphics processing power, RAM of 16 Gigs is when 4 cards in 4 dimms were considered "The Thing" to have all the way back in the previous 10 years and, a 1 Tb SSD drive is best to have when installing the O.S. + all of its own programs-apps onto it.

You are better off having an 8 to 16 cores of an AMD multi-core processor die on a AM4+ socket that in turn, is on a DDR4 chipset of a mainboard's architecture. A minimum of a 4 to 6 GB graphics card that processes video output in milliseconds. Have 4 cards on 4 dimms slots that has 8 Gb of RAM on each card that equals 32 GB. Keep the idea for the SSD 1 TB as main O.S. and its apps but, will need a good 7,200 RPM HDD with a good 4 TB of storage capacity in order to install plenty of games, productivity apps, movies and, music that are all user choices based. So that way you can satisfy your everyday needs and, quite possibly, the needs of a second allowed user of that PC.

An appliance type of a PC is always recommended and, has a full ATX mainboard inside + full size parts as well. No shrinked up in size parts, please. So, yes, a mid tower is quite recommended for this type of, almost, latest in High Tech information electronics of a machine(PC).

Here you go, fully ready to choose properly your parts to assemble later on for a PC that will last you a good whole decade to come.

Enjoy computing and, watching all kinds of videos!

Nice proposals guys. I think AMD processors are not bad too. Some games go better on AMD than on intel. For example Battlefield. I have fx-8350 and it goes brilliant on it. And I had to change graphic card. I had old GTX 660 and I wanted to recover my old password by hashing. That was a good try, but I overheat it and burn. That a was a good reason to buy new GTX 1050ti. Now I use only services such as https://gpu-hash.com/ not to repeat my mistake.

You must reach out and update yourself to an 8 cores of a much better machine. If, you want to jump in the band-wagon of users of the Windows 10 Home version 1909. Pretty much at the level of the Xbox One 8 cores console of about 5 years ago.

Saving monies towards a totally rebuilt machine is a real mind blowing experience. Today's games are RAM hogs and require the much newer graphics cards of GTX 1660Ti and up.

Believe-it-or-not, I will, soon enough, have to upgrade to an even more powerful machine just to run the O.S. and its internet security suites of apps in the background of it all. Look forward to the liquid cooled machine with at least 16 cores onto a much newer mainboard also.

Good Luck at gaming in the right now's world, buddy!
