A question: why THQ Nordic though?

An interesting offer. But how do you know it will work?

and what content you are talking about?
Lore wise the Might and magic franchise has absolutely nothing to offer, even more so after the Ashan stuffs Ubisoft did with it.
Game mechanics wise, the genre itself is attractive enough, what stop them from just making their own IP? They didn't need to purchase Commandos from Pyros to make Commandos-like games. Now they have Desperados and Shogun Blade which easily outvalue Commandos by now.
Honestly, I'd much prefer a brand new IP at this point. Heroes of Might and Magic as a brand is a quagmire. They' ll get stuck in the same old dilemma as to whether they should please old fans or not and to how much extant they'd stick to Hmm3 formula.
