HoMM VII, can't Play Custom Maps & RMG
Windows 10, 32GB 3800 CL16, Zen 3700X, Vega XTX LiQuiD
I can Play NP in Campaign, and original HVII maps.
When i try to make RMG Map it just enters pulpit (silent crash)
The same thing is for Custom Maps e.g. LycOsOasisv14 etc.
I've reinstalled the game, and it's without any Mods (now).
It's frustrating, i like RMG & Custom Maps very much.
What can be done to make it work?
Heroes have only one folder 64Bit one.
Map creator is also not fully stable.
UPD.
Custom Maps now work, just needed Security at Full Controll for new Maps.

RMG improvements are in the next Stand-Alone Expansion.
Truly sorry for being so late as to answer this topic thread at requesting help/support on the stability of the game-play for Heroes VII.
The RMG has been proven to be full of bugs as to the vanilla version of Heroes 7. Plenty of patches has been issued in regards to fix most of the game breaking bugs. The last patch brings the vanilla game to version 1.8.
Therefore, to thoroughly fix the game even further, you need to buy the DLC add-on to this base game. The name is: Trial By Fire. Which in turn, brings the faction of the Dwarves into the fold of the now, numbered factions to 6.
Just like Heroes 6, this brought the base game to version 2.0. Then, more patches were auto. apposed to the expanded game all the way to version 2.2.1xxxx. The quadruple x is to tell you to an unknown more builds of this game are, currently, made as the right now's time.
Good Luck at relaunching this latest PC game and, enjoy the many RMG maps that you will play.
