Heroes 3HD RMG templates - original vs default?
Hi guys, I have been playing the HD mod for a while now. One thing I don't really understand is - what is the difference between "original" and "default" when we choose a template from the drop down menu? For the rest of the templates, it's pretty obvious that when you choose a specific template, you play it. But what about default and original options? What's the difference?

Original templates are templates made by NWC for Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death expansions and hidden on h3bitmap.lod file. Later fans learned how those files work and how to change them. And that's why new templates arrived - more balanced and more suitable for fair multiplayers game. So there's no diffirence between original templates and fan made templates except fan made are better.
And... Default template is default, one of them must be default. Like Arrogance is default map.

So if I start my game with selected template "Default", which template will the game load?

If you click Scenario Information from.memy option you'll get template name.
