Warlords 2...haven't thought about it for years...was a great game, but King's Bounty was earlier. ...yet I think that Warlords 2 had some things KB did not...I am not sure though. All so long ago.

Mm, official all the Heroes Series gameplay is based on the original King's Bounty, which makes sense given it was also developed by NWC.
You are both correct actually, as Warlords 2 is another good old strategy game that I have played. HoMM is not all-that unique! And it doesn't really makes us all-that unified, either...

Rome: Total War is the best strategic game for me. This is one of my 2 favorite games of all time. The second game is related to gambling. 15 years ago, I had a gambling game on my computer, and I could play blackjack, poker, roulette and all this stuff. Oh, it was amazing, this is how I fell in love with gambling. Warlords 2 and 3 both have flaws, strategically 2 is better because 3 has the custom army set which is totally unplayable (outside of online multiplayer?) but ofcourse 2 is nicer. But Warlords francise died with that decision to de-link army production from individual cities, replacing it with raze and reproduce.
