Strange issue with HOMM3 multiplayer games

I recently reinstalled windows, and since then HOMM3 multiplayer (HD+ mod tcp/ip over hamachi) quit working.
I simply run the same portable game that I've been running on my old install.
The game launches fine but when I select tcp/ip both host and join remain greyed out. Running the stock executable results in the same issue.
There don't seem to be any other posts about this... Anyone have an idea what's going on?

EDIT: fixed it already. The network default name parameter was empty and that caused some issues apparently.

It seems like image of ordinary walking stick. But, how precisely that pistol is placed inside this one. I really like this outdoor tiling new techniques for securing yourself. However, many people can even take this practice in some wrong way.
