Favorite dead memes
Come one, come all, to the dead meme emporium! Here you will find (and/or post) a collection of classic memes that have simply faded away with time. Because I need to cash in on good ol' nostalgia while the cashing in is good, dang it!
To start, let me define what makes a dead meme: A dead meme is a viral image, sound bite or video that was popular and heavily present inside the public consciousness, but which faded away in favor of newer, flashier memes. An extra stipulation is that the meme has to have been dead for at least 4 years, because no one cares about your POGs or Memenights here, and those things keep popping up from time to time anyway!

So, I've been sent on a nostalgia trip that made me remember videos like The Ultimate Showdown and Taking the Hobbits to Isengard! Because I'm a giant nerd, and I listened to (and watched) super nerdy things.
On the less video side, I'm missing getting the more clever, psuedo-intellectual piss-takes from the good ol' Philosoraptor. Because it's a good, wholesome meme that isn't beholden to any of god's laws (after all, the big guy nuked the lizard, but it's still around and kicking!)
