Peterson is an odd case...
About two-thirds of what he says is either common sense, basic facts, or just solid, good advice. Of course, he'd be vilified for it.
The rest makes less sense than Ghost's average post. Especially when it comes to religion.

Right?  All those are too alien for most people kek. But I think he's better known for the way he handles discussions than the actual content. I love the way he handles pressure and doesn't play his opponent's game, there is a lot to learn from that.
Never checked his view on religion, those videos look too long.

I think he evolves, alt-right thought they found their golden boy in him but he has the potential to be something more. I’m not giving him too much credit at the moment but there are times he can make you go “hmmm, nice catch.”

Unlike most people, he seems to be informed about numbers, figures and facts. He doesn't just try to wing it through logical reasoning or philosophy, he's done his share of digging beforehand. Of course, a lot of those are not his own conclusions and are used for reference.

He is one of the much needed articulated voices for those having enough with the "progressive" litanies, the 16542 genders, patriarchy, toxic masculinity, income inequality, freedom of speech and other sensitive or totally made up issues the left became too lazy to be able to debate about while taking them as granted. He has the merit of questioning each of such things, this is what intellectually open and aware means.
I bought his book, much disappointed. He is good in debates, creating new stuff isn't his thing.
