Well, yes the USA has its own Labor day, but I didn't think there was an International Labor day. That's what I was ignorant of.

In our case it was communist celebration (as physical workers were favored over intelectual workers in this system), that simply stayed.
Fun thing is that we kinda have something like a "Golden Week" here, because 3rd of May is Constitution Day so people usually take a few days off and have something like a whole week of holidays (best combo is ofc when 1st is Tuesday and 3rd is Thursday so you only need to take 3 days off to have a full free week). So people like to turn it into mini-holiday, although this year it's not only Corona but also it takes place on weekend.
Regarding Finns and Corona hmm, I don't know what Ghost stance is on it, but from our co-workers we got the impression they're pretty serious about it. You gotta take into account that outside of Helsinki and a few bigger city units, the country is pretty scarecely populated. Plus Finns are used to spending their time on air like forest trekking etc.

Corona is a evil. We will soon reach the Chinese level. Finland can't think so. I and friend drank at my home. Pub is closed at 17.00, etc Police said party is quite peace.
