Talking seriously, as a project it does look good on paper at least. If countries like Botswana can get their crap together and dig themselves out of poverty and be prosperous, other african nations can do so too.
I'm sure once finished it will improve Senegal's tourism after Paris-Dakar rally was axed and moved to South America.
