Does anybody ever use the Force Field spell?
I was dicking around last night trying to find the skill level threshold for the larger barrier and I ended up making it create a four-tile barrier by complete accident. Not sure if it's something worth looking into or not... so I figured I'd see if anybody here thought something like that might be worthwhile.

In single player maps this and berserk are probably the most overpowered (and used) spells. Force field + archdevils, unstoppable.

I would totally use this. Can make advancing armies (which don't have much speed) take massive detours

Well, first I would recommend a good pair of glasses, as it is a 3 tiles block, not four (at expert level)
Then, youtube has enough material about.
Depending on the units size we have also sometimes the double force field is used, to prohibit one hex size monster entering in. Test and enjoy.

I should have been more clear, by four tiles I mean four pieces which covered five hexes.

I don't think we're understanding each other very well here. Let's start over.
I accidentally made a force field that was twice the size of an advanced-level Force Field. I'm curious if I should further look into how I made that happen (i.e. would it be of any interest to hackers).

I see, I misunderstand you because your title was "does anybody uses force field", I assumed you talk about vanilla force field

I made it with a debugger, which is kind of like hex editing.

Force Field is a useful spell, would be nice if it was somehow possible to turn it 4 directions though, same with Fire Wall.
