10 second rule to animal deaths
I really think it would be a good law to implement that in slaughter houses if they are going to kill an animal to make it a 10 second limit on their death from the moment of the first strike do you know what I’m saying?

As killing and making use of animals is completely unnessesary we should abolish it like it came to abolish slavery and feudalism...animals feel the same...down with ugly and stinky meat industry!!!10 secs dont change and justify the fact...

I was a vegetarian for 2 years, I wish there was no animal slaughter as well. I’m mostly worried about piles of half dead suffering animals suffering. If they are going to be killed it should at least be quick.

Its destructive especialy for pregnant women. Kids have no material for his body and bones are breakaliable...
We are meateating. Its nature. Ecology. Of course industial meat producing with mass animal concentracion is often ugly. Especialy in countries without law. But normal peasant villages with animals are wonderfull and beautifull! I live there in Poland as a child.

It isn't true that it is destructuve for pregnant women...my vegan kids have strong bones...I spent half of my childhood in Polish village and meat production is one of the worst things I remember....when I grow up I discovered that this cruelty is completely unnessesary...these country folks were just like 160 years ago in feudal subdue and there was no need for it...maybe some people would like to go to the country watch feudal service, maybe some of them should have these inferior status as rude and dishonest... It would be better for mental health of village children not to see cruelty or living next to it...they should be better for other people them...animals should live freed or mini zoo nor being used or killed...fed, healed or sheltered, teleported to other hemisphere for winter by good people if necessary...

the title of the op is misleading. came here fully expecting a 10-second rule on eating animals who dropped on the floor in the slaughterhouse.

wouldn't making sometimes instant deaths last for exactly 10 seconds be a bit cruel?

even after beheading, the brain stays alive for a short while afterward. i think that's why they use the air gun these days; it turns the bulk of the brain into mush instantly; so the movements of the animal are mainly from nerve endings relayed to the muscles.
really, the animal butchery that bothers me is mostly related to the way the eastern world kills their animals(especially their treatment of dogs). that, and the halal butchering method where they cut the throat so the animal bleeds out. i understand WHY they do it, as the blood taints the meat, but i don't much care for the fact the animal has to suffer needlessly. i say, brain first, then throat. best of both worlds.

Yes. bleed the carcass properly, and use the blood to make delicious blood sausages. waste nothing.

Look in some operations they toss bodies into piles suffering for hours until they die. Especially in the fur industry. And a minimum 10 second death would be nicer than slow confusing agony until peace.
