Can the random artifact you get as starting bonus be a major or a relic?
I can't find anything on the matter, and the game says it's a completely random artifact, implying that even combination artifacts can be got as a starting bonus. But are there restrictions? - the picture for a random artifact has the sea captain's hat and the Titan's gladius in it, but I've never even heard of someone getting a relic. If it's possible to get them, what are the odds of getting a major or a relic?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm new here.
I'm talking about random maps and scenarios btw, not campaigns.

No, only treasure artifacts. (Lowest grade.)

if all treasure-class artifacts are disabled in the map you do get a higher level one though

It's a bitmask setting at 0C0050. Default is 2, or treasure only. 4 is minor only, and 6 is treasure or minor.
