A group of adventurers (the thread participants) are in the city of Baldur's Gate enjoying a nice ale when a guard bursts in Shouting: "Kobolds! sent by that evil red dragon Ancalagon, no doubt!" the group of adventurers decides to investigate.

every thread participant chooses one of the PHB 5e races and one of the PHB 5e classes, I'll add one more race not from PHB 5e: githyanki from mordenkainen's tome of foes.
