Best Witch in HotA?

I don't think any of them is that great but for maps with Islands definitely Voy. I played with her.

Maybe styg specialty is good, the sad part is that you got only mage guilt to lvl 3 in fortress making that specialty not so great

Tiva = Bad specialty and bad starting skills, average starting spell. One of the worst heroes in the whole game.
Merist = Clear upgrade over Tiva, but that isn't saying much.
Kinkeria = If she wouldn't start with Slow, one could argue her being even below Tiva. Slow can be taught to a hero with Scholar, which ends up being Kinkeria's saving grace.
Verdish = Gives you the First aid tent and has an unique starting spell, but is a weak hero even on side hero standards.
Styg = Sorcery specialty end ups being quite weak all things considered, other main heroes bring more to the table throughout the game.
Rosic = Not really good enough to be used as a main, but the Mysticism + Magic Arrow combo is pretty useful in the early fights.
Mirlanda = A fully mastered magic school at lvl 5 can be forced by taking expert Wisdom at lvl 2, which is no joke, and makes Mirlanda a considerable candidate to be used as main. Weakness specialty is pretty ugly.
Voy = Navigation isn't the same as Logistics, but I think she can make sense as a main, and would be pretty good to used solely as a side hero as well.
Andra = Despite the nerf, Intelligence is still very relevant. Extra mana makes playing the map easier, and can gives noticeably edge for the final fight as well. Voted for Andra.
Overall, I feel Witches are pretty down on the list when comparing them and other hero classes. Noticeably, they have awfully good chances at learning Ballistics, First aid and especially Eagle Eye. Also, they don't have a focus towards any magic school, so there isn't really a control at what you will get. They have best chances alongside Wizards at grabbing Knowledge, but differences between magic classes aren't that big to begin with.

Nice overview Hourglass.
Andra used to be extremely good, before the Intelligence nerf, except Mage Guild 3 maybe. She might still be the best Witch, even though I feel like Intelligence got hit a bit too hard.

No sense! IMO!
Tocath can explain you.. In RoE, AB, SoD, WoG and HotA the best heroes are always Andra, Voy and Mirlanda.. But newbie Kinkeria is also the best hero..

I made few maps to make mages hero stronger and their speciality "more of use" (I mean spellcasters) but that'z for fun... They're weaker if the map is "standard"...
Intellignece is quite strong when game advances... But not that impressive...
For Voy, I find the speciality or "absolutely useless" or "overpowered" if maps gives great advantage over sea (like logistics but here its on land so strong in "all maps"^^)...
