Dendroids are immune Earth to opponent/enemy in the WoG.. So you can't cast a Implosion, Meteor Shower, Slow, etc But you can cast a Resurrection, Shield, etc to your Dendroids.. An official Dendroids are Mantises in H4.. Because improvement didn't brint a good result, so replaced Mantis, but Dendroids never stayed in the Hades..

Well, for example, HotA did nerf Rampart in general and some stuff for Dendroids in particular:
* Less starting creatures in stacks.
* Conflux was given Highlands terrain, making rampart Grass native terrain less common. (IMO a good choice overall, but would need a buff to compensate)
* "Spell research" means enemy now always has implosion to target your Gold Dragons, which was much less likely before.
* Diplomacy was heavily nerfed, making Ryland less good, and thus Dendroid specialty less common.
On the other hand, terrible stuff like the resource fountain and hyper-fragile pegasi was unchanged. Only "Good" thing is that Luck can now counter bad luck (which still, is much less powerful than bad morale).

At least you are not forced to play with Spell Research, but Gold Dragons were already terribly designed before HotA.

If Magic Mirror wasn't so bad and Sacrifice actually worked as intended, Gold Dragons would have had a use as being targetable by Sacrifice resurrection part
Ah, at last, Gold Dragons were also somewhat nerfed by deleting Resistance since normally resistance skill hero stacks with resistance aura of unicorns, thpugh this affects whole Rampart army (specially Dwarves).

I think Sacrifice works as intended. Sacrifice does'nt seem like a Rampart thing either, it seems more like an Inferno thing...
Magic Mirror sucks though.
You know you can still play with Resistance in HotA right?

I am bothered by nerfs to Logistics and necromancy and introducing interference.
Before that I liked HotA.

Understandable.
I changed Logistics back to how it was in SoD.
And I play with Resistance, not Interference.
I think the Necromancy nerf was necessary though.

I've played and tested only Green and Red Dragons with.. When you haven't forced to play Gold Dragon, Warrior Skeletons, and Centaurs in the WoG.. Result was been so poor.. The Best Gold Dragon.. And you know Dragons have a different immune type.. In H4 Megadragon has 50% Resistance.. But 50 att/def, 1000hp, 50-110dmg, breath attack are stronger than Black Dragon.. Thus you cast a Anti-Magic.. Amen! Green and Red Dragons don't worked..
